She and her team care about the well being of your child(ren) as well as providing the best pediatric medical care possible to all patients through a Medical Home concept.
In 1967, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) introduced the concept of a Medical Home a place that represents a home base for any child’s medical care.
Today’s medical home is a cultivated partnership between the patient, family, and pediatrician in cooperation with sub-specialists and support from the community.
The patient/family is the focal point of this model, and the medical home is built around this center. Care under the medical home model must be accessible, family-centered, continuous, comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective.
Casper Children’s Center is Wyoming’s only certified Pediatric Patient Centered Medical Home.
